Disneyworld-Day 5

Today was a split between Epcot in the morning and Animal Kingdom in the afternoon. We went back to Epcot to ride our favorites again, which were Soarin and Test Track. But, I don’t think Anna really liked Test Track so much. About ¾ of the way into it, she started saying, “I changed my mind” and “how much longer?”. The Epcot Flower & Garden festival had begun while we were there and the landscaping was amazing. I wish I would have taken more pictures of the Disney character topiaries. It was beautiful.

We did not get to go on the safari at AK the day before, so this was on the top of our list. Anna had been looking forward to the safari the entire day. She has really been interested in wild animals lately. She has even brought home several library books about lions and cheetahs. She says now that cheetahs are her favorite animal. Anyway, we did not see any cheetahs on our safari and she was so disappointed. So, we got her a stuffed cheetah from AK. It is really cute and she named her China (don’t know why).

We had a wonderful buffet dinner at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom that night. Guess what we did after dinner? Went back to Epcot! You have to know my husband. He is worse than any kid about packing everything in. We finished with our dinner around 6:30 and he would not even think about returning to our room. So, off to Epcot we went to ride our favorites again. Another fun and eventful day!

I think Ken and Russ need to go on a vacation together so they can wear each other out and we can go lay on the beach! Russ is just like that...every minute we have to be doing something! I guess July will be here before we know it! Give the kids hugs from us~

Ditto what Tenille said. Somehow we all married men that are a little hyper in their own little way (well mine especially). Looks like a blast. Abigail is asking lots of questions bout Disney world
