Ken & Anna wakesurfing

This week was lake week. We spent the week at my mom and dad’s lakehouse and it was so relaxing. At the end of the week, the rest of my family came up and enjoyed a weekend at the lake. We had a great time swimming, tubing, and of course, eating!!

Anna and Layne were both able to wakesurf along with Ken. For those of you who do not know what that is (I did not), it is when you basically “surf” behind the wake of the boat. The one time that Layne did it was the ONE time I did not have my camera with me on the boat. They both loved riding the tube, and Layne LOVED the jet ski (or as he called it “jek ski”).

A big thank you to my parents for allowing us to stay at one of our favorite places (and for keeping my kids, so Ken & I could stay a few days alone). And another thanks to my brother and his family (Russ & Tenille), for sharing their awesome boat and water toys with us. Thanks ya’ll!!
